Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking driving lessons or using our services. By booking a lesson, you agree to these terms.
L2P Coventry Driving School provides driving lessons tailored to each pupil’s experience, needs and learning goals. All lessons are subject to instructor availability.
We accept the following payment methods:
For lessons booked less than 24 hours in advance, please contact your instructor to agree on an alternative payment arrangement.
You must give your instructor at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange a booked lesson. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a £35 cancellation charge may apply, subject to applicable consumer law and the circumstances.
Please contact your instructor as soon as possible if an unexpected situation prevents you from attending.
We aim to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. If you require additional assistance, reasonable adjustments or alternative ways of receiving information, please inform your instructor before or during your first lesson. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs where possible.
Please inform your instructor of any relevant condition that may affect your driving or require additional support. Examples include dyslexia, autism, anxiety that affects driving, diabetes, heart conditions and eyesight problems.
Information will be handled sensitively and used appropriately to support your learning and safety. You must meet the legal requirements for driving and notify the DVLA of any medical condition where required.
Before lessons begin, your instructor must check your driving license and verify that you are legally permitted to drive under the proposed lesson arrangements.
You must bring your valid driving license and provide any additional information reasonably required to confirm your entitlement to drive.
For lessons in your own car, you must ensure that the vehicle is suitable for the lesson and has appropriate insurance, road tax where required, a valid MOT where applicable, and roadworthy condition.
You must tell your instructor about any restrictions or relevant changes to your driving entitlement. Lessons cannot proceed if the instructor cannot reasonably establish that the arrangements are legal and appropriately insured.
Before booking your practical driving test, check your instructor’s availability and confirm that their car can be provided for your chosen date, time and test center.
Notify your instructor as soon as your test date, time and location are confirmed. Booking a test without checking availability does not guarantee the use of the driving school car.
Use of the instructor’s car for a practical driving test is subject to the instructor’s agreement and assessment of your driving standard.
Your instructor may refuse the use of the car if, in their professional judgement, you have not reached the required test standard or a safety concern exists.
Where possible, your instructor will explain any concerns and provide reasonable notice if the car cannot be used. However, sufficient notice may not always be possible, particularly if concerns arise shortly before the test.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the driving school vehicle is available and suitable for booked lessons and tests. Unexpected mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may prevent its use.
If this happens, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss any practical alternatives available.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
