4 out of 5 candidates will follow direction by SAT-NAV for 20 minutes during practical test.
SAT-NAV is pre-set by examiner and you just need to follow directions.
You will hear direction twice (one in advance and next about 100 yards before junction).
you can still ask examiner to confirm the direction and they will repeat it to you. Try do not stare at SATNAV, listen and just quickly glance if you need to.
Don’t rely on speed limit appears on screen, it is not updated probably.
Each direction has 4 parts of information specially on roundabouts:
1- Distance after 80 yards 100 yards 200 yards 300 yards
2- Type of junction go round the Roundabout – the roundabout – Turn - Take – at the end of the road – keep Right – bear Right or Left
3- Direction Left – Right – straight ahead – cross
4- No. Junction first , second , third or fourth Exit
